The tented accommodation will come with comfortable beds with mattresses, linen, duvets, pillows, bedside tables, blankets, plug points, carpets and comfortable chairs.


"We will set up and service the accommodation over the duration of the events. Customers can book the tents at a rate of E 1 400 per tent per day, excluding break. f8$t. We have partnered with Pigg's Peak Hotel and Casino who will provide breakfast at a rate ofE I 00 per person per day," he said.


Attracts


The Buganu Festival attracts more than 80 000 people and is one of the biggest and cultural highlights of"Eswatini.


According to BBC News, data collected by the World Bank indicates that in 2016 more than 940 000 international tourists visited Eswatini.


Though it has been reported that there has been a drop of 5 .1 per cent in visitor numbers to Eswatini, Mamaila believes that tourism is still one of the key drivers of the economy.


He further disclosed that the minister of tourism had expressed a desire for the visitors to "have a different and enjoyable experience without being worried about drink-driving.


"The minister added that there are visitors who come from as far afield as KwaZulu-Natal who make their annual pilgrimage to the festival at Hlane and Buhleni with no accommodation close by. lbis solution he added made perfect sense, which is why the ministry is supporting the initiative," he added.
